A quick overview will be followed by a detailed explanation.
How does it work?
By using lockette you are able to lock and protect your chests and doors from access by other people. This means that if you protect a door or chest no-one but you (unless specified) is able to interact with them. When applied to double doors it will allow them to both be opened when one is interacted with. This also means iron doors can be opened by clicking them!
By writing [private] on the first line of a sign you deem it a lockette sign. This can be done on a chest (shift+right-click when placing the sign), on a door (shift+right-click when placing the sign) or by placing it on one of the blocks that the door is built upon or that is above the door. On the second line your name will be filled on after you finish the sign. The third line can be filled in with another persons name or with the [everyone] tag if you want everyone to have access. The fourth line can have
First line: [private]
Second line: Your name will be filled on after you finish the sign.
Third line: Can be filled in with another persons name or with the [everyone] tag if you want everyone to have access. Fourth line: You can add another name or put on a timer for doors. [timer:2] would keep the doors open for 2 seconds and then close them again. It is advised to put this number between 2 and 5.
When you want to add more users to something you can add additional [private] signs and then include their names on those.
